RED BULL MEDIA HOUSE - Santa Monica, CA

Director, Gaming Network | 2021-2024

Oversaw  all content production, programming, social publishing, strategy and communications for Red Bull’s Media Network, Gaming vertical (both enthusiast and esports). Managed team of 6 employees.

  • Led the media operations for the North American gaming audience of 60M+, by far Red Bull’s largest.

  • Led global and national events including broadcasts, influencer marketing, content production & communications, garnering 300K+ concurrent viewership & project reach up to 200M. 

  • Oversaw all Gaming social channels (TikTok, Twitter, Instagram) doubling viewership every year and accounting  for 90% of all global social posts.

  • Launched a US focused YouTube channel that immediately  doubled  viewership, quadrupled engagement and grew priority GenZ and female audiences.

  • Developed a wide ranging  influencer strategy that solidified Red Bull’s place  in streamer culture through content commission, influencer marketing, event investment, sponsorship and event attendance.

  • Led Red Bull’s partnership activations with Sony, Capcom, Riot, Activision, EA and Ubisoft. 

  • Developed audience via third party events such as LCS, VCT, Evo, Combo Breaker, CEO and Twitchcon.

TWITCH - Los Angeles, CA

Contract, Content Development & Production | 2020

Led content strategy, monetization and production for the /twitchgaming O&O channel

  • Built a community of 225K+followers in less than 4 months, one of the fastest growing on Twitch.

  • Developed new programs including a weekly gaming news show, an esports commentary show, 5 competitive gaming shows, and a suite of brand funded content programs.

  • Led Twitch’s first RFP for new content formats from production companies. Total budget of $4.5 million resulted in 10+  live shows.

VERTICAL NETWORKS - Venice, CA 

Vice President, Content Development + Brand Strategy | 2018-2019

Led branded partnerships and content, show development, sales and strategy for mobile-first content studio, a joint venture between Snapchat and Elizabeth Murdoch. Managed one employee.

  • Spearheaded all content development across social, digital and linear for Gen Z audience. 

  • Developed, packaged and sold 6 original content series to Facebook, Snapchat, and Eko.

  • Led multi-platform testing efforts to expand to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

  • Developed and produced interactive series Clothes Call with Nina Garcia for Walmart’s Eko platform.

Managed a video programming portfolio across YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram for top technology publisher. Managed 12 producers in all major markets.

  • Oversaw content studio, producing  editorial, branded, and long-form and short-form live content.

  • Built first-ever  esports news and video team, and developed a content strategy around event coverage.

BUZZFEED MOTION PICTURES - Los Angeles, CA

Oversaw high volume creative development and production of branded content and brand supported series within social video headquarters. Managed team of 5 writers and producers.

  • Launched Buzzfeed Motion Pictures Studios, leading creative operations.

CBS INTERACTIVE - San Francisco, CA

Managing Producer | 2006-2010

Managed all aspects of FilmSpot/MovieTome, CBS Interactive’s movie entertainment site. Managed a team of 3.

  • Managed all product and editorial for CBS’s film site, leading freelance developers and in-house writers and data producers to develop a film focused audience within the large CBS digital entertainment network.

  • Worked with the account team to sell targeted ad inventory and execute branded content projects. 

  • Led studio communication  for press kits and studio assets such as trailer premieres. 

  • Supported other CBS Interactive entertainment properties, including podcast production for TV.com, video production and development for GameSpot, video production for Last.fm and CNET.
